Farewell to Willis

The Running Institute Ann Arbor- WestAs I am writing this post, Nick and Sierra Willis are most likely boarding a flight on its way to the New Zealand Training camp in preparation for the IAAF World Championships later this month in Daegu, South Korea.  For the last week and a half I have been back in Ann Arbor experiencing the huge change in The Running Institute since I left for Europe 7 weeks ago.  The last time I remember being in the office was for the grand opening when we only had one or two patients.  Yesterday Pete Kitto, our Physical Therapist, had me check the numbers and we had over 90 patents scheduled last week.  This has far surpassed our expectations for only our 6th week of business at our new location.  It is never enjoyable to be injured as a runner, but we are glad that we can offer our services to get you back running faster and better than ever before.

As for Nick, be sure to keep an eye out for his races later on this month in Daegu.  We will be sending out updates and putting up a television schedule when it gets closer to his race.  But for now we wish him all the best in his travels and training leading up to the races!
